What happens when every part of a photo booth experience feels like an extension of the brand?

The wrapped 360 base transformed the platform into a bold Michael Kors brand feature.

At a recent two-day Michael Kors event at JW Turnberry in Aventura, we had the chance to answer that question with not one, but two fully customized activations. For an estimated 150 to 250 guests, we created a branded 360 photo booth and a magazine booth designed to surprise people, invite them in, and keep the Michael Kors brand front and center.

The result was more than a place to take a photo. It was a live brand moment guests could step into.

Day One: A Branded 360 Booth Built to Be Seen

We kicked off the experience with a branded 360 photo booth. The base was fully wrapped, turning a functional part of the setup into a highly visible brand feature.

That detail was one of our favorite parts of the entire event. A custom wrap can completely change the way a 360 booth lives in a room. Instead of the equipment fading into the background, it becomes part of the visual story—recognizable in person, memorable on camera, and connected to the brand from every angle.

For Michael Kors, that meant guests were not simply stepping onto a platform. They were stepping directly into a branded experience.

Day Two: A Magazine Booth With a Red-Carpet Feel

On the second day, we introduced a completely different experience: a custom magazine photo booth.

The exterior face was finished in black, while the interior featured a soft gray treatment. Together, those colors gave the booth a polished, editorial look that felt dramatic without competing with the people inside it.

Then we added the detail guests could not resist: a stylish chair inside the booth. It gave people a prop, a pose, and a chance to make the moment their own. The chair quickly became part of the fun and helped every shot feel a little more like a magazine cover.

Creating the Entrance Before the Photo

The experience started before guests ever stepped inside.

Outside the magazine booth, black-and-gold stanchions created a red-carpet-inspired entrance. That simple addition helped build anticipation, define the activation within the event space, and signal that something special was waiting on the other side.

And when guests walked out? They were absolutely wowed.

That reaction is what experiential design is all about. A great photo booth does not begin with the camera or end with the final image. It takes guests through a complete journey—from noticing the setup, to stepping into the moment, to walking away excited to talk about what they just experienced.

Why Custom Branding Changes the Experience

Our favorite event builds are the ones where the brand is not just added at the end. It is considered from the beginning.

Wrapping the 360 base, customizing the magazine booth, coordinating the black-and-gray interior and exterior, and framing the entrance with black-and-gold stanchions all worked toward the same goal: making Michael Kors unmistakable throughout the experience. That is the difference between adding a logo and designing a complete brand activation.

These details matter because guests remember how an event made them feel. When the space is immersive, polished, and fun to interact with, the brand becomes part of that memory.

Bring Your Brand Into the Booth

The Michael Kors event at JW Turnberry showed how two very different photo booth activations can tell one cohesive brand story. Across two days, guests moved from the energy of a branded 360 booth to the editorial drama of a custom magazine experience—and every element was designed to feel intentional.
